Here is a list of the places that we have traveled that we have photos for. This page is a work in progress and we will add photos, add to the list and add more content as time permits and our memories serve us! Our hope is that seeing and reading about these destinations, it will give you the urge to see some of these places. Also, it will give you peace of mind that when we help you plan that trip, you are working with someone that has first hand knowledge of the destination.

Destinations We Have Visited

Mexico

In our travel, we have been in Cancun, Puerto Morales and the Riviera Maya. We are in the process of planning a trip back to Cancun this year. Mexico is known for its seaweed, but most resorts clean up the beach every morning.

Jamaica

Jamaica is where we have been the most in our travel. There are several reasons for that. The first reason is because of the vast number of resorts that are available. Each area of the island is unique and the people are wonderful. That is reason number two and it is what makes Jamaica our favorite island. We have so many pictures from Jamaica that I would have to dedicate a page just to that island. We have been to EVERY Sandals and Beaches Resort in Jamaica.

Turks and Caicos

We have been to Turks and Caicos one time. While we were there, we stayed at Beaches Turks and Caicos. The resort is a massive 75 acres with 4 distinct “villages”. With 24 specialty dining restaurants and 15 bars, you would have to spend a few weeks there in order to experience them all.

Budapest, Hungary

Our trip to Budapest was when we were on a Riviera River Cruise for the Christmas Markets along the Danube. Budapest is a beautiful, Imperial city that is split in two by the river. The people of Hungary are friendly and resilient. The have just gained their freedom after decades of oppression.

Curacao

We spent a little less than a week at Sandals Royal Curacao to do a site inspection. The best way to suggest a product or destination, is to go there and experience it first hand. The island of Curacao has friendly people and very explorable. Arid, like Turks, the island is desert like and you see cacti all over the place. The street art in Willemstad is really something to see.

United Kingdom

Our travel to the UK included a visit with a friend of Jo’El’s. While we were there, we were in Wales, Manchester, Salisbury, London, Leeds, York and Edinburgh. We saw a lot, but we did not have enough time there. The UK is on our list for another visit, especially Scotland and we need to make it to Ireland.

Napa & Sonoma

In our travel to the Napa Valley, we stayed at the River Terrace Inn in Napa. It is located right next to the Oxbow Public Market in downtown Napa. We visited 5 wineries while we were there. Cakebread Cellar Vineyards, Castello di Amorosa, V. Sattui Winery, Domaine Carneros Winery, and Provenance Vineyards.

Prague, Czech Republic

Our travel in Prague was while we were on a river cruise. We were there during Christmas Market time and the city is simply magical. We rented an apartment in a quiet, residential part of the city and everything we needed was within walking distance.

Bratislava, Hungary

Unfortunately, we did not get very many pictures while were in Bratislava. It was cool and damp while we were there. It is a quaint little European city.

Esztergom, Hungary

The city of Esztergom is in northern Hungary. It is a city that sits on the Danube with the country of Slovakia across the river to the north. It is a very walkable, small city with an amazing Basilica that sits atop a hill overlooking the Danube below.
