Explore Alaska Through the Camera’s Eye
Alaska In All Its Glory
The Final Frontier in America
Alaska is in the northwest extremity of the United States West Coast, just across the Bering Strait from Asia.
The last frontier of the United States. A pristine land that is more than twice the size of Texas. Summertime is best to visit, and you can drive, cruise or fly.
Must see and must do:
- Denali National Park
- Glaciers – 100,000 of them
- An amazing array of wildlife
- Experience the culture
- Arctic Circle and Northern Lights Tour
- Land tours
- Alaska Railroad
- Whale watching
- Hunting and Fishing
Alaska is a must see and is on many bucket lists. There are so many ways to get there and so much to see. The easiest way to get there is on a cruise. If you do go by ship, a land extension is suggested and necessary so that you can spend more time in the state to take in the sights. Another way to get there is by plane and to stay in one of the major metropolitan areas. Once there, travel around the state can be done by car or rail.
As stated above, the best time to visit is during the summer. The reason for that is the ability to access parts of the state. Also, Denali is teaming with wildlife and a bus tour of the park is available.
