We have sold many cruises and resorts, and we primarily sell what we know and what we trust. When it comes to resorts, we have certification in two main brands. Sandals Resorts and Beaches Resorts, which are under the same company brand and the AM Resorts brand.
Sandals has 7 Resorts in Jamaica: Sandals Montego Bay, Sandals Royal Caribbean, Sandals Negril, Sandals Royal Plantation, Sandals South Coast, Sandals Ochi, Sandals Dunn’s River. Dunns River is the newest and features Sky Pools on some balconies.

Each resort has a unique culture and style. We feel that Jamaica is the most welcoming of the Islands. There are some places on the island that are not safe, but it is still accessible with a tour guide or private driver. (We have great connections) If you love the beach, Negril is right on 7-mile beach and is gorgeous. If you want to be spoiled, Royal Plantation has every room looking over the water and it is all Butler. It caters to a more affluent and older clientele. (Caviar and champaign on the beach) Because it is a smaller resort, lifelong friendships are made here, especially and the return rate is very high.
Our favorite resorts in Jamaica are Sandals Negril, Beaches Negril, and South Coast. Sandals Ochi has a sort of party atmosphere; a 1920’s speakeasy is here called the Rabbit Hole and is the highlight of the resort. You need to know the daily password in order to gain entry. Royal Caribbean and Montego Bay are great resorts, and they are only 10 minutes from the airport, so they work great for short stays as the others are roughly 90 minutes to 2-hour transfers.
We focused on Jamaica, because with over 900 flights it is the easiest and most affordable to get to. The prices on the island also tend to be a bit lower than the other resorts.
Beaches resorts are the best in the industry when it comes to family resorts. There are currently 3 with more in planning. Two are in Jamaica, in Negril and Ocho Rios. The biggest and the “Star of them all” is in Turks and Caicos, with over 95 acres, 21 restaurants and 5 themed villages with 3 main pools.
Beaches Resorts has been voted the World’s Leading All Inclusive Family Brand Resort for 25 years in a row. All the staff is trained in Autism and special needs. Beaches is the first resort company in the world to complete the rigorous IBCCES training and Autism Certification! For children with special needs under the age of 12, there are professional nannies available on a one-to-one basis, as well as child-care experts—all who have been thoroughly trained in safety, nutrition, and child development. You can request a One-on-One Beaches Buddy to be with your child for your entire stay or just for a few hours, including during Kids Camp hours and afterhours in a sensory-friendly location of your choice.
There are 3 levels of service Butler, Club/Concierge and Luxury. Butler is the most spoiled you can get. We have had butlers at other resort brands, and none of those have compared to the Sandals and Beaches Brands. They are trained by the prestigious English Butler Guild.
If you choose to stay in a suite of this category, you can expect that your butler will greet you on arrival with lemongrass-scented hand towels, welcome cocktails or champagne, and even culinary treats. Your butler will escort you to your suite and fill you in on the various resort facilities, and you can check-in from the comfort of your suite.
Once you’ve completed your check-in process you can explore the resort’s amenities, or simply unwind. You’ll receive a dedicated personal cell phone to easily reach out to your butler whenever you require assistance. These butlers are at your service and can cater to your needs, whether it’s serving you lunch, dinner, delightful culinary creations, your favorite cocktails, or even champagne, all from any restaurant or bar, whether it’s located on the beach, by the poolside, or within your suite.
At Beaches, they excel in anticipating the needs of all guests and ensuring the happiness of the children. They go the extra mile by delivering personalized treats like cookies and a variety of games, or even preparing an extra bubbly bath for you. For instance, during one of our initial stays at a Jamaica resort amidst the challenges of Covid, we had a bottle of Gin in the room. When Jon requested Tonic water, which was in short supply at the time, the Concierge went to great lengths to locate a few bottles and promptly delivered them to the room. Now, every time we stay at the resort, our room is prepared with Gin and Tonic for Jon.
We have the ability to sell other resort brands, but we cannot guarantee the same level of excellence elsewhere. Many other resorts operate as franchises, and if management undergoes changes, the quality of service may also fluctuate.
