Our favorite resorts in Jamaica are Sandals Negril, Beaches Negril, and South Coast. Sandals Ochi has a sort of party atmosphere; a 1920’s speakeasy is here called the Rabbit Hole and is the highlight of the resort. You need to know the daily password in order to gain entry. Royal Caribbean and Montego Bay are great resorts, and they are only 10 minutes from the airport, so they work great for short stays as the others are roughly 90 minutes to 2-hour transfers.
Beaches is designed for families, including groups with children, teenagers, parents, grandparents, and extended relatives traveling together.
