Cruise ship

An Ocean Cruise is typically on a much larger ship usually with 3,000 to 4,000 passengers, there are some ships that will accommodate up to 6,000 passengers. Ocean Cruises sail around the coastlines of the countries generally stopping in multiple ports and countries.

Cruising is a very popular vacation option for many people. You set sail on a floating city, loaded with entertainment, activities and full of all types food to put gastronome in paradise. But, alas, not all cruises are the same.  Dozens of cruise lines sail to every corner of the world and the options aboard are as varied as the creatures in the sea. There are dozens of cruise lines offering and endless number of itineraries. Spending any amount of time on a website researching for a cruise can be daunting. It is in our nature to search for the lowest price possible, but this is not always the best idea when searching for a cruise. The old adage, you get what you pay for holds true in most instances here. Did you know that the advertised price you see is the price for the lowest room category offered by that company? That could mean you are on a 20 year old ship, 12 floors down, in an interior stateroom, with no windows, at the front of the ship (bad if you might get sea sick).

Who are you traveling with? What is your activity level? What do you like to do on vacation? We have many questions to ask you before we can even begin to suggest the right cruise for you.  Cruises are not one size fits all.  For example Princess is a fantastic line, great for Adults and kids, but Norwegian may offer more for an active family.

The destinations are something else to consider as well.  Do you want cultural excursions? Are you adventurous and want to dive into a Cenote in Mexico? How about a trip to Europe with a Transatlantic Cruise taking you there or bringing you home?

As always, your satisfaction is of utmost importance to us. Give us a call so we can make your Cruising a more Navigable experience.

Traveling as a group is a fantastic way to get like-minded people together to share an experience.

By getting a group* together, there are benefits not included when you are traveling on you own. Additional amenities are available to groups.  Some of the extras may be a cocktail hour, beverage package, welcome gifts, theme parties, extra on-board credits on ships or free transfers. In many instances the tour leader, or person that gets the group together can get free or very discounted travel.

Many groups participate in vacations around themes. Genealogy travel is big. Travel to the home of your ancestors with members of your family or take a cruise across the Atlantic like your predecessors did with Ancestry Experts.

Some theses are built around a particular time period, event, author’s works and life, architectural style or any other interest that might attract a group of people. Most themed tours are led by experts who provide insight into the events, places and people related to the theme.

While music cruises are by far the most popular type of themed cruise, you can find cruises that emphasize food and wine, TV / film / media and dance

Have you ever considered the people that are in your circle?
  • Your church family?
  • Hobbies?
  • School groups?
  • Long time friends?
  •  Weddings?
  • Graduations?
  • Vow renewals?
  • Family reunions?
  • Class Reunions?
  • Military reunions?

If you think you would like to put a group together, give us a call.

Fund Raising Travel

It’s a fact that organizations, whether they are schools, churches or community NFP’s, need to raise money to support a cause and give back to their community. Travel is a fantastic way for groups to earn money as their members probably like to travel already and share similar likes and dislikes.

We will help you come up with the perfect trip. It can be any reason to bring like-minded people together and have a portion of their trip fund your organization.

Not everyone wants to travel together. So keeping that in mind, most vacation opportunities will have everyone traveling together. How much time they want to spent with the group is up to them.

Some examples of group travel fund raising:
  • Church couples retreat
  • Church family bond/reconnection retreat
  • School/School district sports departments
  • Community outreach programs

Contact us for more specific ways in which we can help your organization attain fund raising success while providing your group with a wonderful and enriching experience.

River cruise

River Cruise

River Cruise

A river cruise is a voyage along inland waterways, often stopping at multiple ports along the way. Cities and towns often grew up around rivers, river cruise ships frequently dock in the center of cities and towns. River cruising is much more intimate than Ocean cruising, typically carrying 150 – 200 passengers.

River cruising is one of the areas that we specialize in. This form of travel is very appealing to us and the possible destinations and itineraries are endless. River cruising is both intimate and immersive. Most riverboats have less than 150 guests and the amenities are world class. Several providers have all inclusive packages and the possibility of pre or post cruise extensions further enhance your vacation. River cruising offers the opportunity to explore all of Europe, Asia, Africa and the US. Some of the areas that you can reach on a river cruise were not easily explored in the past by other means.

A river cruise may seem pricey at first, but once you consider what you are getting for the price, it is well worth it. You are in a 5 star floating hotel that travels with you, you unpack once. Meals at multiple dining venues and daily excursions are included with your cruise price. The meals are hand prepared by award winning chefs. Most itineraries include complementary special programs including lectures, theme dinners, cooking demonstrations and onboard music performances. Most river cruise companies have special relationships that give you exclusive access to historical and cultural venues in the cities that you will be visiting. This opens up unique opportunities to explore and learn the local culture and meet the people. When you add up the costs of meals, hotels, excursions and transportation around Europe for the same length of time, you will see that you are getting a great value. Plus you have English speaking guides with you on all of the excursions. You also are free to explore on your own.

There are dozens of companies that can provide river cruises. Each company comes with its own itineraries and included amenities. The variations are endless. It is our job to find the cruise that fits your needs. Contact us for more information.
