Quebec is a predominantly French-speaking province in eastern Canada with two vibrant cities in its south, connected by the Chemin du Roy highway along the Saint Lawrence River. The metropolis Montreal is named after Mt. Royal, the triple-peaked hill at its heart. Dating to 1608, Quebec City retains its old colonial core, Place Royale, and historic harbor, Vieux Port, now known for nightlife.

As the only French-speaking region of North America, it is unlike anywhere else on the continent. The majority of the population consists of French-Canadians, the descendants of 17th century French settlers who have resisted centuries of pressure to assimilate into Anglo society.

For those that love the outdoors, National Parks are in abundance. The province has twenty-four in all. The myriad of activities makes it a perfect spot for people that like adventure and lead an active lifestyle.
