Good afternoon everyone, I hope all is fine with you and that you are healthy and practicing social distancing. Last evening, the city of Rome, GA enacted a shelter in place order due to COVID-19, starting today (3/24/2020) at 5pm. All non-essential businesses are to close their doors to all outsiders and not to conduct business. This order has been put into place until April 6, 2020. In the interim, Jo’El and I will be working from home and we will continue training and planning for those of you that would like to get a leg up on everyone and plan your vacation while you have the time.
The beautiful thing about our business is that we can work from anywhere, so this should not cause to much trouble. As long as we have the Internet, our cellphones for texting and talking and email, we can have you ready to travel as soon as things start to clear up and restrictions are lifted. We do love meeting in person with everyone though! We will keep everyone posted on when we can be back in the office and in the gorgeous downtown, walkable neighborhood that we love and now call home. We will miss coming into the office.
During this time, I want to wish all of the fellow businesses on Broad Street the best. Also, I would like to ask everyone to please heed the warnings about COVID-19 of our health and government officials and please limit your exposure to others. The sooner we all “distance”, the sooner things will be back to normal.
Until we reopen in April, stay healthy and stay safe! Please feel free to reach out to us with any questions that you may have.
